SAO PAULO, Brazil - The day before the 60th Miss Universe, candidates were still locked in long hours of practice, mastering the production numbers and other aspects of the coronation night on Monday (Tuesday in Manila).
The pageant's opening number is a colorful one, and is followed immediately by the announcement of the top 15 semi-finalists. NBC anchor Natalie Morales and television host Andy Cohen will be hosting this year's Miss Universe, while Filipina singer-actress Lea Salonga is one of the show's 7 judges.
