Miss Angola's Leila Lopes was crowned Miss Universe for 2011 in the competition held in Sao Paulo, Brazil Monday night (Tuesday morning in Manila). Shamcey Supsup, a 25-year-old beauty from General Santos City, was the third runner-up for the Miss Universe pageant.
Miss Ukraine Olesya Stefanko was the first runner-up, Brazil's Priscila Machado placed 2nd runner up while Shamcey placed third. Supsup was one of the strongest contestants in the competition, placing 2nd in online fan rankings and first in the final fan rankings
