The government will not rush into filing a diplomatic protest against China, as authorities are still further verifying reports of the intrusion of Chinese fighter jets into Philippine-claimed areas in the Spratly Islands, Malacañang said yesterday.
Deputy presidential spokesperson Abigail Valte told a press briefing that the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) was working to get complete details of the incident.
