NULLIFY WATCH LIST; ARROYOS ASK SC; DE LIMA REJECTS GMA MEDICAL TRIP

Gloria Macapagal Arroyo and her husband, former First Gentleman Jose Miguel Arroyo, Tuesday challenged before the Supreme Court (SC) the legality of the watch list orders (WLOs) issued against them by Department of Justice (DoJ) Secretary Leila de Lima. This developed as De Lima denied the request of former President Arroyo to seek medical treatment abroad, citing the findings of Health Secretary Enrique Ona that there’s no dire need for her to seek medical treatment abroad.
