MANILA, Philippines - The head of the government's disaster response agency today said that Typhoon "Pedring" (Nesat) may have killed more than 20 people during its onslaught yesterday.
Benito Ramos, head of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC), said that as of noon today, a total of 20 people have been confirmed killed by the typhoon.
