At Centro de Usos Multiples in Hermosillo, Mexico, WBA flyweight champion Hernan "Tyson" Marquez (31-2, 24 KOs) made the first defense of the title he won in April from Luis Concepcion, with a third round knockout of Edrin Dapudong (22-4, 13 KOs).The stronger and more accurate Marquez battered Dapudong with punches to put him down hard enough to force the intervention of the referee.
