PNP confirms anomaly in chopper purchase

An investigation by the Philippine National Police confirms allegations made by Senator Panfilo Lacson about the anomalous purchase of two refurbished helicopters that were made to appear brand new, but Mike Arroyo denies it was his family that sold the PNP used choppers.

Acting on the findings, PNP Director General Raul Bacalzo has ordered the Directorate for Investigative and Detection Management (DIDM) to identify and file administrative and criminal charges against officials involved in the purchase.
