THE prosecution in the Maguindanao massacre case suffered an apparent setback on Wednesday when the defense successfully blocked crucial testimony of former Ampatuan aide Kenny Dalandag.
Lawyers for former Mayor Andal Ampatuan Jr. of Datu Unsay town in Maguindanao province in southern Mindanao, a primary suspect in the mass killing of 57 civilians, including 31 journalists, had asked the Supreme Court (SC) to issue a temporary restraining order (TRO) to stop Dalandag from testifying.
