The Dallas Mavericks moved to the brink of their first NBA championship by defeating the Miami Heat 112-103 on Thursday to take a 3-2 lead in the best-of-seven finals series.Dallas can take the title by winning either of the next two games in Miami, on Sunday or Tuesday if a seventh and deciding game is needed.
