Celebrations for the 113th anniversary of Philippine independence will kick off with simultaneous flag-raising activities in Cavite, Luneta, Barasoain, the Bonifacio monument in Caloocan, Cebu, and Davao on Sunday.President Benigno Aquino III will lead wreath-laying and flag raising activities in Kawit, Cavite. The President is also expected to deliver his first Independence Day message. Meanwhile, a civic and military parade will take place at the Quirino Grandstand from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m.
