The House justice committee on Wednesday declared as "sufficient in form" the impeachment complaint against Supreme Court (SC) Associate Justice Mariano del Castillo, who was accused of plagiarism.
Eleven committee members voted in favor of the complaint while 10 voted against it. One abstained. Justice committee chairman Niel Tupas said the committee will convene on Wednesday next week to discus the merits of the case in terms of substance.
