NATIONAL Basketball Association (NBA) superstar Kobe Bryant considers Filipino ring icon Manny Pacquiao as the newest role model for aspiring young athletes worldwide. Bryant, 32, is in the Philippines for the third time for his 5-City Nike Asian tour.“Manny is my guy. He’s a good friend of mine. I’m not surprise of his huge accomplishments since I know him as a hard worker and a very patient guy. He fights with tenacity,” said Bryant, who was named NBA’s Most Valuable Player in 2008.
