Pilipinas Got Talent is a Philippine talent show on ABS-CBN that began February 20, 2010. It is based on the Got Talent franchise, a British TV format conceived and owned by Simon Cowell's SYCO company. "Pilipinas" is the Filipino word for Philippines. The first series of the talent show began on 20 February 2010, and was broadcast weekly with a live final on 13 June 2010, in which Jovit Baldivino won. The second season is set to premiere February 26, 2011 replacing Star Circle Quest and Star Power respectively.
