The Department of Justice on Thursday found probable cause to file tax evasion charges against former Socioeconomic Planning Secretary Romulo Neri for failure to pay P15 million in taxes. The complaint will be filed before the Court of Tax Appeals.
Asked for comment, Neri said: "I already commented on it before. They made mistakes sa years. Yung 2010 ko nilagay sa 2009, yung 2009 ginawang 2008. She (Bureau of Internal Revenue Commissioner Kim Henares) never gave me a chance to explain. I'll just have to face it in court."
