MANILA, Philippines – A peace pact between rival boxing promotion companies Top Rank Inc. and Golden Boy Promotions (GBP) could force Nonito Donaire Jr. to finish his contract with Top Rank, a veteran fight analyst said.
Showtime boxing analyst Al Berstein told Examiner.com that this may happen after GBP’s Oscar dela Hoya made peace with rival promoter Bob Arum of Top Rank last week.
