President Benigno Aquino III said Sunday he would discuss reported incidents between Philippine and Chinese ships and planes in the Spratlys with China's defense minister to ease tensions over the disputed islands.Aquino said he hoped his talks with visiting Defense Minister Liang Guanglie would help to avoid a real conflict over the chain of islands in the South China Sea which both countries claim.
